The entire contents of a one-car garage fits perfectly into a 15 passenger van (minus the passenger seats) which, it turns out, is also excellent for a quick cat nap.
Me again
Everything is easier when done in sunny weather.
Despite my tossing and turning about it the night before, lots & lots of things sold. (whew)
Keeping the price tag for every item that’s sold with the correct ‘sold for’ price written on it prevents a mental meltdown later.
Every single vendor I met was nice, helpful & encouraging.
Every single vendor has a slightly different pricing strategy.
Anything with a horizontal surface being used for display will sell first.
Into Vintage
Things will end up on the ground.
Crowds of people will turn out to shop vintage on a Friday night in the country.
Hard work can be fun.
Four gold stars!! to A Vintage Gathering for such a wonderful vintage event this past weekend – it exceeded my expectations in every way!
Can’t wait for next time! And there is a next time …
I'm so happy to hear that you did so well. Your booth looks really good and your displays are perfect. I spied MY drawers down there in the front:-) So glad to hear the weather cooperated. Sounds like such a fun weekend!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear it was a success! Now, put your feet up and rest a while!

Yay! Congratulations on a successful show! Time for some much-deserved R&R and then you have a garage to fill up. 8+)
ReplyDeleteI would definetly stop at your booth! judy
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it went well! I saw the 'sold' stamp on the cupboard in the 4th photo and said 'phew'!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a job well done! It was a great day. Thank you for putting up with me.....:)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad it went well. And it's true: the first thing to sell is the one you need for display purposes! Tip: I find that bringing a fold-up table (or two) for emergencies helps a lot. Can't wait to see the second one!
ReplyDeleteGlad it was successful! Your booth looks great.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you had a successful show. My hubby and I sell our handmade soap at street fairs and craft shows during the winter months. We love visiting with vendors and shoppers. Everyone is always so NICE and helpful.
ReplyDeleteSmiles, Paula
That looks amazing! Glad you were successful, and had fun while you were at it.
ReplyDeleteI knew you would do well....you have a wonderful eye and now an empty garage. Best to fix that fast by refilling asap...Nice to see your hard work pay off...well done...smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteBy the way...Laurie/Ethel has the first two copies of Mollie Makes.
Your booth was gorgeous! Soooo many great items.
ReplyDeleteI've done a few outdoor vintage markets...hard work, but so fun! Don't think my back could handle the lifting anymore, though.
Congratulations on a successful show! :-)

Your booth looks great....no wonder you had so many sales!!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteHooray!!! I'm so glad it went well! The pictures alone made my heart beat faster! That bike!!!! SWOON!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had a great time, Amy! And a big yay for good weather. Now it's time to hit the yard sales and get that garage filled back up!
ReplyDeleteI knew you'd do well, and your space would have attracted me right away. Guess what! We are the proud owners of a Garage Where Cars Can't Park! We moved our daughter out of her apartment, and it's been too hot to bring all of her furniture up to the attic, so it's all sitting in the garage. I told my husband about your garage, and what you call it, but he didn't laugh. He has no sense of humor whatsoever!
ReplyDeleteOh those lucky, lucky ducks who happened upon your booth! As I looked at the pictures I was mentally shopping...you had some fantastic things for sale there!!
ReplyDeleteAmy-
ReplyDeleteIt was so great having you at AVG. Sounds like you really had a great day on Saturday. Hopefully you'll be back for more fun! Thanks for grabbing some pictures too!
Michelle
This looks amazing! Nice job. I too toss and turn the night before a sale.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you were a smashing success! Isn't fun to sell your items to someone else who will love and appreciate them? So glad you are going for round 2!
ReplyDeleteYAYYYYYYYYYY Amy....Your space ROCKED....THANKS for sharing.... :o) !!
ReplyDeleteIt IS fun getting to know other Vendors & meeting your Customers 'in the flesh'....It makes up for the lack of sleep, bruises, sore EVERYTHING & the DOUBT....!!!
Rest up & take it easy....You need to build up energy for the next one....!
Cheers for now,
Tamarah :o)
