A public service announcement

We (and by 'we', I mean 'I') interrupt this vintage Christmas post with an important announcement.

It has been reported there is another severe outbreak of vintage dish-itis.

Please, do not panic.

While there is no known cure for this condition, the prognosis can remain favorable by following these simple instructions:

1.  Locate any vintage dishes you have that resemble the one pictured here.

2.  Carefully pack, insure and ship them to me immediately.

I will place all dishes in quarantine for as long as necessary.

Remember, I am a professional so do not try this in your own home.

The quarantine process may take months, if not years, so please feel confident that these dishes will be well cared for.

And now we return to our regularly scheduled vintage Christmas programming.

  5. Since when did Santa get googly eyes? I will most certainly send you the sickly plates when I run across them. Have never seen that particular pattern though.

  8. Whew! Thank goodness I have none of those dangerous dishes in my house. However, if I run across any of these hazardous porcelain escapees, I will round them up and ship them straight to you for your caring ministrations. Thanks you Amy, for making the sacrifice for us all. You are so generous.

  17. Does this also mean the vintage Christmas drought is over? It so often seems as if one problem is no more than solved than another one emerges.

  19. Wow, that's SO freaky. I just heard that there's a severe outbreak of vintage-itis. You need to pack up everything in both of your Etsy shops and send them here immediately. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee return postage when we get the all-clear, but please know that it will all be well taken care of!
