you watch Downton Abbey last night?! Sew good!
Lovely projects! What are you working on now?

We DID watch Downton Abbey last night...wasn't it GREAT! I wish we could have taped it! I want to make some sachets this year, too. I need to order some lavender to fill them! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWonderful projects, each and every one of them!
ReplyDeleteYes, I was glued to the TV for the full 2 hours. Can't wait for the next episode!
I think in your pondering you should pat yourself on the back for your talents with needle and vintage fabrics...your creations are amazing..what will 2013 bring....
ReplyDeleteI put "make some mini hand warmers" for in coat pockets on my list.
ReplyDeleteYou fill the sachets with flax seed. Then to use them stick them in the microwave for under a minute.
Your sachets have inspired me to add some fragrant herbs to my project.Should make my chilly morning walk to the bus pleasant.
Thanks!
We taped it but haven't watched yet. You are going to sew!!! I am sew excited!! Will you put things in your other Etsy shop??

Wow, you pulled a Vulcan Mind Meld on me! I was just about to check in on you to see if you were buried in snow or fabric, and here you are!
ReplyDeleteYour sewing vow sounds like a good plan, as it's been a while. Can't wait to see your creations!
These are cuter than cute! I'll choose all of them as my favorite. You sew girl!!
ReplyDeleteYour projects are always so beautiful and clever. They rank up there with my other favorites, like Downton Abbey. Oh. The. dresses!!
ReplyDeleteYeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (so sorry my enthusiasm is understated - I'll try to turn it up a notch for next time)
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm laughing out loud at your comments ~~ you all know her sew well! I've been wondering where the heck she's been storing the enormous fabric stash (certainly not in the garage-where-cars-STILL-can't-park). So Amy, please, please make good on that resolution this year! Hurry! Valentine's Day is coming any minute. Meantime, I'll be feeding my piggy bank with all my loose change, watching and waiting to pounce!
ReplyDeleteLove the vintage Christmas bunting!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely and inspiring creations!! They are all so pretty! Happy week to you! xo HOlly

Everything you make is perfect, so ... just make anything you want. Of course we watched Downton Abbey, and those strings of banners fluttering from the trees at the wedding made my heart skip a beat, I think.
ReplyDeleteI did watch it...For the first time!!! I loved it! But, if they lose Downton, is the show over, just when I found it?
ReplyDeleteI love everything you sew, I just did some valentines with vintage fabric. Thank you for following my selling series!
Carol
I am your newest follower and I am in love with all your vintageyness.

Yes, Amy - please start sewing and selling again. I will take one Christmas banner/pennant! I always wanted one of those and never bought one. This past week I carefully put away my very favorite Christmas runners - one you custom made for me.

Now I wished I had asked for a new sewing machine for Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration!!! Love your creations!!!
