Vintage Summer Vacation

Thank you for all of your tips on my post about selling at a vintage market!

I jumped in and signed up for my first vintage market, A Vintage Gathering, in Battle Ground, WA on July 30th.

Of course, I was thinking of you when I chose a vintage market that’s several months from now because I want you to have plenty of time to purchase plane tickets or save up for a tank of gas (only kind of funny, isn’t it?) or do whatever needs to get done so you can come out and shop!

And here’s a little gas-saving bonus – the boys of Barn House are also holding their sale on July 30th and they’re just four miles from A Vintage Gathering! (with lots of yard sales inbetween)

I’ll wait while you write this down on your calendar.

Of course, I immediately went to one of my favorite antique malls for some research and development.

If you look closely at the photo below, you’ll see me in a moment of deep concentration.

And here’s a little inspiration from A Thing For Roses’s space at Monticello Antique Marketplace.
Thanks Lisa!

Lisa will be a vendor at Barn House on July 30th as well as Farm Chicks the first weekend of June.

Now I’m just crossing my fingers some great vintage stuff will come my way.

P.S. If you’re interested in selling at one of A Vintage Gathering’s events, send me an email and I’ll provide contact info for you. Have a great week!

  5. How exciting! I went to A Vintage Gathering two years ago, after my first Barn House visit! I bought quite a few things there! ;-) I will have to mention it to my cousin and we should try to be vendors there some time.

  7. Amy, it's you! Seeing you in the mirror was fun. Alas, as close as I will get, with that whole East Coast homeland thing I've got going here. (Why is all the fun stuff out there?)

  11. Oh yay! A picture of Amy! Now when we finally meet, I won't have to make you carry a stack of vintage tablecloths in order to be able to recognize you.
Oh, who are we kidding....you'll be carrying the stack of vintage tablecloths anyway. You're probably carrying a stack right this very minute.

  12. Good for you! My Jazz gang got inspired to open our own booth in a shop after we went to our first Barn House event 2 summers ago. The plan was to do flea markets eventually, but getting to that step hasn't happened with everyone else's full time work schedule, so we just do the Jazz booth. We might do the annual Centralia Antique Fest this summer since it's on the street just around the corner from our shop. Last year we only had a spot on the sidewalk which didn't have to be "manned" as all purchases went inside the shop. This year we are thinking about renting a bigger space but it will take a lot more effort!

I am hoping to get to the Barn House this summer so hopefully we can make the Vintage Gathering too.

Thanks for stopping by and joining our giveaway! I'll come back later and add my name to your followers list under my main blog, Sares @ Loveleigh Treasures. Michelle does most of the blogging on the All That Jazz Vintage blog. I have enough trouble keeping up with my personal blog!

Have a great week! Tara(Sares) All That Jazz Vintage
