Do you recall how open and innocent and empty my antique mall space was the day I moved in?
Egads!
(that’s me channeling my mother, by the way)
And
yet, I must be doing something wrong.
Because
as my mall space fills up, my house doesn’t seem to be any less full.
What’s
up with that?
Don’t
answer that.
(I just
returned from an estate sale. I’m starting to sense a pattern here.)
And if
you’re wondering about those three dressers that were on the brink of becoming a
permanent part of the scenery here, they are going, going, gone!
Have a
wonderful weekend!
Ooh, look at all the vintage Christmas goodies. Your space is looking mighty fun and festive. Love the display of Santas with the milk glass. Egads, I'm hearing my mother too:-)
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Those darn estate sales!!! Your booth looks great for Christmas! Now, the buyers need to BUY!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend.
Warmly,
deb
So much cool stuff! If I'm ever in Oregon, I must visit your antique mall space.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and I love that tinsel tree and all the Santa's!!! If only I was closer!! Enjoy your weekend! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteno, I'm pretty sure that means you're doing something right! it all looks wonderful, you know.
ReplyDeleteThat booth is so darn adorable, the ornaments on the screen are inspiration to me! Can you imagine the nerve of someone who might step in there and BUY something!? Oh dear, wish it were me!
ReplyDeleteawesome space! Hope you sell lots!
ReplyDeleteNo no no...it is not about getting it out of the house it is about the discovery of where you can house things. i.e. linens inside a picnic basket...I need eight more. Ooo buttons in old tin canisters...I need one for every color of button. Its a cycle, don't break it or we won't get to drool over all this loveliness...smiles..Renee
ReplyDeleteyou have the display mojo, baby! everything looks really great!
ReplyDeleteyou're having a ball and it shows :)

I hope gone, gone, gone means sold, sold sold!! Your space looks great and I will tell you a little secret... the reason I jones after a mall space the way I do is so I can buy more stuff and have a place to put it. 8+)
ReplyDeleteNote to self......must make road trip to Portland to visit Amy's booth. In the mean time I'll covet it from blogland.
ReplyDeleteYour space looks chalk full of wonderful treasures - wish I could see it in person!

ReplyDeleteAlthough I can't make a trip to Portland today to check out your booth, the pictures will do just fine for right now! Love your booth.
ReplyDeleteErica
You make me wanna' visit Portland, too! Other people drool over cooking blogs, I don't waste the drool.
ReplyDeleteI save it all for delicous vintage! Thanks for the eye candy!
I saw it in person and it looked AWESOME! From your little bitty wall space to this...high five girlfriend!
ReplyDeletep.s. you have made her proud....
A full house is a sign of a junkers full life!
ReplyDeleteYour space looks like a vintage Christmas wonderland! Can't wait to see it in person.
Fun, festive, fabulous!!! I love, love, love your booth (and alliteration)!!♥
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little, my mom had on display an Infant of Prague statue that was similar, if not identical, to the one you have. It used to give me the heebie-jeebies, because I always sensed that its eyes were following me--I tried to fake it out by darting in front of it in different directions, but nope, those creepy eyes still followed me! I finally told my mother in my overly dramatic way that I refused to enter that room again until she removed that creepy statue! She didn't, of course, and obviously I survived, but not without PTSD flashbacks whenever I see an Infant of Prague statue to this day! Egads!
Um, you did SELL the dressers, didn't you??
xoxo
Your booth is amazing! I would so buy some of your awesome vintage Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteA feast for the eyes!
ReplyDeleteWish I could visit your booth in person. I would buy everything, I'm afraid. Your taste is exquisite! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteIt must be so exciting to have a bigger Monticello space for Christmas this year! You have room to really go holiday crazy with the decorating. So fun! It looks wonderful as always, Sweets.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid as long as you have the junking bug, the garage where cars can't park will forever be just that....:)
Do you sell things from your booth on-line, because I'd buy your ornament tree on the screen if you do (I reallllly wanted to win that one you were giving away!!). Please let me know if it's for sale & can be shipped: vicki.terlap(at)gmail.com Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful!!! Just wish I was close to do some Christmas shopping!
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny. Only because it hits so close to home. I was just looking at a picture of when I moved into my space about 6 months ago and how neatly everything was spaced out. And now, wow! I need to move into a bigger space! I guess only to store the hoard. And sell some too I suppose. It's a sickness I swear.
ReplyDeleteOh, how I would LOVE to shop in your booth!! I see so much vintage goodness!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I see you have excellent taste. I had to follow your blog now. :) I have an antique booth too. Maybe you'll inspire me.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness gracious.....just look at all of that vintage Christmas! There just isn't that much to find down yonders...I think it's all up where you are. Love your booth, of course, and I'd be there to shop it if you were here.
ReplyDeleteLove to you!
Becky
