Here today.
With lots of thrifting, antiquing and vintage shopping along the way. At least that’s the plan. I hope I find something!
Here’s my shopping list:
1. Vintage fabric (shocking)
2. Vintage Christmas (alert the media)
3. Things to sell in my etsy shop (vague)
4. Things to set aside in case I ever decide to sell at a show (vague and dangerous)
Here’s what I hope I don’t bring home:
1. Any items with the potential to be labeled ‘What-was-I-thinking?’ (currently have more than enough of those)
Seems simple enough.
Happy trails from your roving reporter. Next update: The Sacramento Antique Faire.
Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteHave fun Amy and drive safe! Did you take a trailer? A semi? You could always hire out a shipping container and have it barged up the river!
ReplyDeleteOh, the antique show we ended up attending was a total bust. Awful. Now that I'm home, I can't remember what my issue with that extra six hours of driving ever was.
Oh well, there's always next time!
How exciting! Can't wait to see what you get!!

ReplyDeleteThought of you today and knew you were hitting the highway...wishing you safe travels, good finds and warm weather. Jealous....
ReplyDeleteI've always said that I would go to the Sacramento Antique Fair. Why I haven't yet, I don't know. I...uh..only live about 15-20 minutes away, and I have friends that are vendors! Maybe I'll pry myself out of bed this weekend and venture down there... maybe. :) Have fun, and drive safe!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jill
Hilarious. Sending junking karma your way, since I haven't had any recently! Post often.
ReplyDeleteSoooo fun.....wish I was on my way treasuring hunting, instead of being here with very frigid temps and 2ft of snow out my door!
ReplyDeleteHave fun and safe travels!
Oh I do hope you have more luck than I've had recently. Enjoy your trip. Let us know what great treasures you find so that we can live through you! Renee
