Can I keep it?
It gets along great with my Dollar Store plates.
This was the best (and scariest) part.
(After unpacking, I was very happy to discover only 2 pieces were chipped and from the appearance of the chips, they happened before these pieces were tossed together to become a ‘boxed set.’)
Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!
YES!!!!! It's a keeper. Enjoy them and use them.
ReplyDeleteGreat bargain:)

ReplyDeleteOMG!!!! I've collected Blue Willow for years and have never even gotten 1 plate for that price!
ReplyDeleteYou did not get those for 3 bucks!!!! Well of course you may keep them.
ReplyDeleteThey would have followed me home at that price too. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou see me here, freaking out, right? I'm pretty sure you can hear me all the way from Arkansas. 3 dollars????????? As my 2 year old daughter used to say, "Oh My YERD!"
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart! I think someone put them in the box meant for paper cups. Dollar Store plates never looked so good. What a deal!!!
ReplyDelete$3.00??? You must keep them. Especially since they followed you home. But you must feed them, which means you have to use them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a deal!!!!

ReplyDeleteWowza!! I just love that sometimes people just don't know what they are doing and put 3 bucks on that box of old dishes. I am grinning from ear to ear over your good fortune. 8+) Yay!
ReplyDeleteHello Deal of the Day! It's sometimes our luck that people don't know what they have.
ReplyDeleteI need to use that line! Great score!
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing deal! I laughed when I read your title, it reminds me of women who buy stuff, hide it in the closet, then when their husbands comment on it, they say, "Oh, this old thing? It's been in my closet for ages!" Congratulations on the deal of the day!
ReplyDeleteOh yes!!! They were calling to you...sometimes, as crazy as this might sound, I feel certain items and books beckoning to come home with me...
ReplyDeleteWish they would have followed me home.
ReplyDeleteScore!
No, sorry, you won't be able to keep that. This entire box must be sent immediately to Garden Of Daisies.

Wow! That is scary! Hee-hee! ♥
ReplyDeleteNice! the title reminds me of a funny story. My friend's 9 year old daughter went off at a bootsale and exchanged her £2 pocket money for a very large teaservice. We found out when she called me over because she couldn't carry the box! Never mind doll's tea party, this could have catered a full coffee morning - she said 'I saw it and it's viiintage, can I keep it?'. I think she learned it off her mum! ;)
ReplyDeleteWell you sure did find a treasure!! Fantastic!
ReplyDelete$3.00???? Are you serious??? $3.00???? What a find! I love blue willow!
ReplyDeleteI think you should keep it!
Blessings
Linda

Not only quiet, but useful, and pretty. It also appears to be loyal (don't ask, I just know), and therefore I think you not only CAN keep it, you're obligated to keep it.
